This is an incredible piece of Artwork!
I can't believe how realistic it looks. I've always dreamt of moving up to the Highlands, and I love cats, so you've created an excellent scene here. Glencoe is my favourite area - where I used to do a lot of climbing.
Yes, a nice little cottage tucked away somewhere quiet, surrounded by mountains and the scent of that fresh mountain air would do me!
As I have little knowledge of the software you're using (I only use Photoshop stuff), I think you have done well. I can see what you mean about the lighting though - that's always a problem in photography in general. The shadows around the table look good, but the stool seems to be "floating".
The texturing is spot on - especially the details of the walls. I also like the glimpse of the trees through the windows - again adding to the atmosphere. This is amazing Artwork, which must take ages. You are obviously very patient, and a bit of a perfectionist I would guess.
It's great to see this style of Art. You have talent.
